My goal as counselor is to create a supportive environment where you may explore your needs and feelings and overcome emotional barriers that limit your full potential. I take an open-minded approach to client wellness adn consider your work life, family traditions, cultural and spiritual beliefs.

My Background
I am a graduate of The University of Maryland School of Psychology. I subsequently earned a Master's degree in Social Work with specialization in clinical studies from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. I have been a licensed social worker in the State of Maryland since 1997.
Orginally I worked for the Department of Social Services in Frederick with adults and children; and then with the Mental Health Management Agency as overseer of the Public Mental Heathly System for youth. In 2000, I established a private psychotherapy practice. Along with my psychotherapy practice, I manage and supervise family services programs (mediations, custody evaluations, adoption home studies) for The Circuit Court of Frederick County.
I am a Family Mediator and parenting coordinator, however, these are serviecs I only provider non-Frederick County residents to prevent any conflicts with my work for the Frederick County Court.
